Narrative Therapy

Narrative therapy looks at the stories we create about our lives, our relationships, and ourselves. It helps us identify limiting personal narratives and understand how they are shaped by broader cultural and social systems. Through the process of re-authoring, we can take ownership of our life story and compose narratives that empower us on our journey of healing, growth, and liberation.

Somatic Awareness

We feel and hold our feelings in our bodies. Somatic awareness is a type of mindfulness that focuses on increasing our ability to notice things happening internally like different sensations, where we feel emotions, and physical reactions. By noticing our bodies with non-judgment, we can learn how to manage stress, enhance our mind-body connection, and connect with our embodied intuition.

Attachment Theory

Attachment theory focuses on our innate need for safe emotional connection. It extends beyond childhood, though most of us have an attachment wound from when we were little that we seek to heal in our adult relationships whether we realize it or not. By becoming aware of these wounds, we can start to make conscious choices in our relationships to break negative cycles and respond with intention.
